Meet Lindsay
The vision:
I believe that travel allows us to see the world through a different lens, helping us understand ourselves and each other on a deeper level.
The ripple effect of these connections creates compassion, and that compassion has the power to change the world.
My promise is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and free to be yourself --while having fun along the way!
I'm passionate about building community, connecting with people from around the world, exploring new places and teaching movement.
I'm highly detail-oriented, yet I have the unique ability to "ride the wave" of travel.
It's my gift; to quickly understand what the group needs and adapt accordingly.
The details:
1998: Began traveling internationally and leading adventure trips in Western NC
2002: Spent 75 days living in the Wilderness of Alaska through an intense outdoor leadership course
2003-2012: The start of organizing multi-week adventure programs for groups in the U.S. and abroad, allowing me to live and travel all over the world.
I was a sea-kayaking guide in St. John, USVI, an English teacher in South Korea, a service-learning instructor in Ecuador and so much more.
2012: Started my 7.5 year tenure running international programs for thousands of students at Broadreach, a well-known study abroad company.
2014: Began my lifelong journey as a Pilates instructor
I feel grateful to have been a part of so many life-changing experiences for participants all these years!
Some of my most cherished travel memories include:
-Trekking and drinking tea in villages in Nepal
-Dancing to ring in the New Year with my river guide's family in Chile
-Attending a celebratory feast with monks in Thailand
-White water rafting the Karamea in New Zealand
-Watching my then-toddlers perform in the Dia de Guanacaste ceremony at their school in Costa Rica
